Introduction
Following the promulgation of OSHA 2005 on 1st September 2007, Employers are now required to adopt a whole range of initiatives to upgrade their health and safety standards to a much higher level. Safety standards cannot be improved by the sole contribution of the Health and Safety Officer but through active collaboration of all members of the H & S committee, managing staff and employees who need to possess a strong health and safety background (which unfortunately is not provided to them).
Aims
This course is aimed at all managers and supervisors in all businesses. The knowledge gained from the course facilities effective and safe management in line with best practice. It is also designed to help participants review their own departmental systems for safety and to introduce new controls and necessary changes to ensure safety in the workplace.
Target Participants: Managers, Supervisors and health and safety committees from all industry sectors who require a broad knowledge of health and safety systems of work.
