Any serious injury during the use of scaffolds can have very grave legal and financial repercussions on the employer. Before it is even envisaged to use a scaffolding structure, the employer must ensure that the scaffold is erected by competent erectors, the work is supervised by a Scaffold Supervisor and when the scaffolding is completed, it is inspected by a Scaffolding Inspector.
